Full Service Design
From conceptualizing the space's function and flow to developing the playroom’s look and feel, this is an end-to-end, hands-on design process.
Whether your project is a small refresh or a major renovation, we handle every aspect.
Every Full Service Design project includes six key checkpoints and at least four detailed presentations, giving you a clear view of each phase and how your space is coming to life.
A dedicated project manager guides you from start to finish, answering questions, coordinating details, and keeping your project on track.
Six Key Checkpoints
Intake + internal review
We begin with a comprehensive intake to understand goals, challenges, budget, and priorities. We review photos, plans, inspiration, and priorities.
Allocate
With a complete understanding of your family’s needs and the space itself, we define purpose, priorities, and a clear vision for future development.
Design
With intention and expertise, we translate that vision into a cohesive plan. Every detail is selected to balance beauty, function, and developmental value.
Procure
We handle sourcing from start to finish, curating a collection of furniture, toys, and materials that meet our standards for quality, safety, and timeless design.
Install
Our team brings the design to life, managing every detail to ensure a seamless transformation. The result: a space that feels as effortless as it looks.
Finishing Touches
We provide additional resources and troubleshoot. Organize and set up systems so your space continues to work for the client.
Full Service Design FAQ
-
Every Greenwich Play project is truly one-of-a-kind. Our full design process is immersive, collaborative, and thoughtfully tailored to your needs and space.
It begins with a deep discovery phase, where we learn about your space, your children’s interests, and how you envision the space being used. From there, our design team creates a fully customized design plan that blends functionality, creativity, and play.
Throughout the process, we’ll provide you with presentations and touchpoints designed to refine and personalize every detail. We manage sourcing, production, and installation from start to finish, ensuring a seamless experience and a space that feels distinctly yours.
-
Before our session, we’ll ask you to complete a detailed questionnaire covering your space, goals, budget, and family. This helps us get to know you and your needs so we can design with purpose and precision.
We’ll also ask you to share relevant materials such as photos, floor plans, inspiration images, and any specific challenges so we can come to the meeting fully prepared and ready to focus on creating a space you love.
-
We wish there were a simple answer, but timing truly depends on our current pipeline and your project’s scope.
From initial intake to installation, most projects are completed within 3-7 months. Because each playroom is custom-designed to Greenwich Play’s quality standards, timelines can vary based on factors like construction schedules, product lead times, and installation logistics.
Our goal is always to make the process as seamless and efficient as possible, providing clear communication, realistic milestones, and a stress-free experience from start to finish.
-
We’re realistic about what you can achieve, and we pride ourselves on working with a range of budgets.
You can expect to invest at least $15,000 on a Full Service Design project. On average our Full Service Design projects are closer to a $50,000 investment (this includes our fee, materials, and labor).
