  • Getting started is easy! Visit our website here to book your consultation and begin your journey to creating a purposeful play space.

  • No. After you proceed to checkout, we will reach out shortly after to schedule a 45 minute virtual consultation with one of our expert project managers. This way we will have a better sense of your expectations, family’s needs, and budget, among other things. We would then present you with a personalized mood board/color scheme, key design elevations (one revision), a clickable shopping list, as well as an organization guide. Anything additional like sourcing paint, wallpaper, or flooring selections will be billed at $200/hr.

  • Three main differences: You will handle purchasing/tracking orders, bidding out to contractors and relaying the design plan to them, and you will not receive as detailed out documents (with scaled in product selections, etc.) as you would with the full package design. This is definitely a more hands on approach and will require you to coordinate/manage a substantial part of the install process.

If you proceed with our Full Package Design service, that will feel like a more personalized design initiative for your space. It’s more catered to families who want to incorporate a little bit of everything (pretend play, gross motor, reading/cozy nook, general play, arts + crafts, etc.) and parents who are generally a little more particular when it comes to specific design details. Not only will you be receiving a mood + flow (we would basically take your floorplan and create an allocation of space), but we would also provide you with specific design details and scaled in product selections, as well as handle contractor biddings and ordering/tracking with our trade programs.

If you proceed with one of the Push Play packages, this will not come with an allocation of space- it will be more of a standard process in which we provide you with a general mood board and color scheme (no flooring, paint, or wallpaper selection included) as well as key elevation drawings. Please note we will not suggest products and then scale them in, instead we will suggest our go to products depending on your wants/needs and draw up the best configuration for that space. For example, if you want a maker’s space, we will send you the best pegboard combination based on your ceiling height and wall length. But then it’s up to you to take those plans and bid it out to your contractor/handyman (we won’t be able to provide you with a labor cost as that will not be included in our scope of work). If you need material suggestions after your install or a guide to where things should go, we can also send that over.

  • We don’t sell our own products, we source and procure them from our trusted vendors instead (Crate & Barrel, West Elm, Groh, Shelfology, etc.). In the case that you move forward with one of our packages, we would source products for you and you would handle the purchasing. I would say it is more to allow customers that don’t want a playroom with all the components we would normally suggest, that want a more hands-on approach during the design process. For example, clients who would take on building the general assembly items themselves (table, chairs, etc.), want to handle ordering directly, and don’t want to invest in paying the full price when all they really need is a design for one wall or a dedicated corner of their room.

  • Yes, but think about it more as dedicating a specific area of the room to that play since you will only be receiving up to 10 product selections in that package. If you think you will need more than 10, I would proceed with our full package design service.

  • 1 product is 1 item- meaning monkey bars or climbing panels or crash pad. It doesn’t literally mean 10 monkey bars or 10 climbing panels, etc. To clarify, a rock wall across a whole wall with holds would count as 1 item.

  • Absolutely! Push Play is designed to be flexible. You can choose to implement the design yourself or request additional support from our team.
