a Playroom for All Ages

Designing a playroom for a family with four children, ranging from teenagers to preschoolers, is a unique challenge but one that holds so much potential for fostering connection, creativity, and fun. ⁠

For this project, the family added to the existing home to accommodate the large family they had grown into. We aimed to create a space that could continue to grow with them, providing opportunities for shared moments and individual interests. ⁠

With three boys aged 14, 13, and 9 and a 5-year-old girl, we knew the room needed to be adaptable and welcoming for everyone. ⁠

Our vision was a space that would accommodate sleepovers, gaming marathons, movie nights, board games, and pretend play while maintaining a cohesive and stylish look.⁠

This project reminded us of the ✨️power of intentional design.✨️ Considering each family member’s needs and interests, we created a space that functions well and feels like home. ⁠
